We welcome projects from any community group or organisation working in Argyll and Bute that has a governing document.
We are looking for projects that:
-
your group wants to deliver. If you want to deliver your project in partnership with other groups or organisations, please make sure all partners know you're submitting a proposal on Aspiring Places.
- will bring benefits to one or more communities in Argyll and Bute. Communities could be groups of people who all live in the same area or who share an interest or characteristic.
- require funding for resources like staff, volunteers, materials, equipment, buildings, land, etc.
- will be delivered within a specific timeframe, with a start and end date, even if those dates aren't set in stone yet.
Projects can:
-
be of any size or scale.
- be focused on any type of activity.
- cost any amount.
- be at any stage of their development, as long as they require resources to be completed.

- Decision Making: Unless they agree otherwise, groups and organisations are responsible for delivering the projects they share on Aspiring Places. They should also be equal partners in decision making about how their project is delivered.
- Stakeholder Involvement: If others want to include your project in their plans, they should get your agreement first.
- Direct Messaging: Anyone can create an account on Argyll and Bute Voices, allowing them to use the direct messaging function. This means that any user including community members and the Council, may contact you for more information about your project via direct message.
