Each funding opportunity will have its own application process this year, separate from Aspiring Places.
Expressions of Interest for Community and Public Sector Capital Projects
Argyll and Bute Council is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from public sector and community organisations looking to deliver large‑scale capital projects.
Why We’re Collecting EOIs
The Council administers a range of external funding programmes in which we must act as the lead applicant. However, we can apply on behalf of eligible public sector or community organisations - usually on a competitive basis - to support the delivery of projects within local areas.
In previous years, applicants have faced tight timescales to prepare submissions and to help address this, we're gathering EOIs early so we can understand which projects might be suitable to put forward, should external funding opportunities become available.
Possible Funding Opportunities
Funding opportunities may include Scottish Government programmes such as the Islands Programme, the Regeneration Capital Grant Fund, and the Carbon Neutral Islands Fund, as well as Crown Estate funding.
(Please note: These programmes are not currently open, and no funding has been announced.)
