Describing the positive changes your project will bring about
When writing your project proposal, please describe the positive changes your project will bring. These positive changes are sometimes called 'outcomes'.
The image below shows how the National Lottery uses a cake-baking example to illustrate outcomes. If you bake a cake for 10 people, they will be less hungry and happier after eating it.
Use this idea to help you describe the positive changes or 'outcomes' your project will bring about. For example, a new astroturf pitch might create new sports clubs, reduce injuries, save travel time, and prevent game cancellations.
These positive changes should link to the reasons your project is needed. For instance, if the current pitch causes injuries, fewer injuries would be a good outcome.
