What happens if multiple groups or organisations propose projects in the same location or wish to make use of the same land, building or asset?

  • The place marker on the Aspiring Places map shows where the group or organisation would like to carry out their project. It does not necessarily mean that the group owns any land, building or asset in that location.

  • Many funding bodies encourage collaboration between groups, especially where that prevents duplication of effort. For that reason, groups or organisations who are looking to deliver projects that would involve the same plot of land, building or other physical asset may wish to consider exploring opportunities to work in partnership.

  • The Council will not manage conflict between groups or organisations arising from their participation in Aspiring Places.
