How to connect your project proposal on Aspiring Places with funding
This guide will explain how your community group or organisation can save time and effort by creating a project proposal on Aspiring Places that can be put forward for funding opportunities.

How to connect your project proposal on Aspiring Places with funding
Step 1: Register as a group on Argyll and Bute Voices, activate your account, and sign in- You can sign up here.
Step 2: Create and publish a project proposal on Aspiring Places- Check out the project proposal guide to find out what to include.
Step 3: Once your proposal is published on Aspiring Places, go to 'My content' and view your project proposal by clicking on the title.
Step 4: Click the 'Connect with Funding' button.
Step 5: Choose the live funding opportunity you would like to connect with from the drop-down list and click 'Next'.
Step 6: 'Select Fund Group' and 'Select Funding Pot Heading' from the drop-down list. *If the fund doesn't have multiple pots, both boxes will show the fund's name.
Step 7: Click the green 'Connect with this fund!' button to submit your expression of interest. This will copy your project proposal on Aspiring Places to the relevant fund you have selected.
Editing your proposal after you click 'Connect with this fund!'
We understand that when a funding opportunity arises, you may wish to edit your proposal on Aspiring Places. You can easily edit your project proposal after you click the 'connect with this fund' button.
Follow the steps below:
Step 1: Go to 'My content'.
Step 2: Click the 'Investment' tab.
Step 3: Click the blue 'edit' button.
Step 4: Edit your proposal and click 'Submit Expression of Interest' to save your changes.
