To keep cinema alive in the Helensburgh area
We firmly believe the benefits of cinema go far beyond entertainment.The mental health and social inclusion are proven in many studies.
To make cinema affordable by offering 10% of our audience capacity free of charge and for some films have A Pay What You Can policy.
Make us inclusive by organising free customised screenings for nurodivergent audiences such as autistic and dementia.
To widen the films we offer to be more diverse.
To offer free of charge screenings with a wide choice of film to local charities and organisations.
To offer simple training and front of house experience for young people and the nurodivergent community
We have adopted a low cost model avoiding the overheads of a dedicated cinema building by renting a venue only when needed. No heating, insurance, community tax orvrepairs to pay for.
12000 will fund us for 12 months including some capital costs
